Dr. Basilious is a literal lifesaver!! I brought my sweet energetic 1 year old kitty here after she suddenly started refusing food and water and became lethargic. My old vet dismissed my concerns after the world’s briefest evaluation, so I decided to try Bastet Cat Hospital to get a second opinion. After a much more thorough examination, Dr Basilious found that her bladder was TWICE the size it should be! He drained her bladder and put her on a special diet and antibiotics, and I’m so thrilled to say that she’s back to her playful self! The staff is lovely. The dr truly loves cats and takes a lot of time with our cats calming them. He’s very thorough and explains everything to us in detail. They have two delicious cats in the office too. It’s just such a relief to find a great vet that only treats cats.

Thank you Dr. Basilious and the entire team at Bastet for taking such good care of my cat during a recent emergency. Not only were they able to see my kitty same-day, but they made a constant effort to provide him with exemplary, one-of-kind care. The doctor was understanding, patient, and took every precaution possible before beginning surgery. It's so clear that he loves cats and has a deep knowledge of their unique needs. Best of all, Bastet specializes in felines - too many times I've brought my cats to the vet and an already overwhelming experience is made worse by dogs barking loudly and bombarding their carriers.
