My home warranty company required that this company come out for a repair. i should have googled their reviews. The technician repeatedly cut me off, was very quick, didn't explain anything and then told me everything would be taken care of by the insurance company. He said some parts were broken and he would put in for a repair with the insurance company. I then got a letter from the insurance company sayding the alliance HVAC technician reported that the repair was not indicated because of failure to perform maintenance. What a scam. And when you call? no one picks up. just an answering machine. And no one calls you back.
The technicians they send are incompetent in my opinion. Seems like they lack training and need to change their old culture to fit western customer service. To save you time from reading, my conclusion is to be weary of what they are doing. If your old unit is really over 20 years old they will screw up the installation. DO NOT DO PERSONAL BUSINESS WITH THEM, unless you are obligated by your home warranty (like in my case.) My home warranty company assigned this company to replace a 40 year old unit Heater/AC combo unit. All was going well in the beginning but their organization, professionalism, and timeliness of completing the job is disastrous. Here are the issues noted 1. Professionalism: The same day they completed installed my unit (over 8 hours of working) and the heater was working but not my AC. They claimed that my AC would not turn on because it was too cold outside. I live in So Ca, when is it really that cold?? Since I was watching them work I knew that they didn't check the wiring that goes into an old thermostat. This caused a short in the unit. 2. Timeliness: After several complaints that my unit was not working, they took over 4 weeks to complete the repair and home warranty's specification to complete the job. I would understand maybe a week, but the parts they were missing were not crafted beforehand so not sure what the issue was. They kept stating that they were missing those materials but literally it was some 2x4s, plywood sheets, and a galvanized sheet metal to construct a base. 3. They noticed that the unit shorted and wanted to charge me $200 to change a tiny fuse. This would not have happened if they notices how old my unit and they had to change the wiring to the new unit. They had to call their boss to know they shorted. They do not know how to troubleshoot. All be said, they don't know what they are doing and when I told them I didn't want to pay $200 for a fuse that cost $5 and installation is 30 seconds they left.
Terrible company! Sent out by First American to fix our washing machine. The technician was nice but made the problem worse while waiting on the part. I called them to come out to return it to as least working order as it was (minus part for loud noise during spin cycle) and the guy on the phone said if I know more then him then where is my license? He proceeded to hang up on me then when I called him back I asked if he hung up on me to which he replied he did and to call my home home warranty and that the repair guy won't be coming out again. Don't know how this company is even in business at all!
