Sears window replacement is now a car lot with security cars circling it every 10 minutes. That's more security than the bank has. Curious

Had an estimate to replace windows. Way overpriced. I had to sit through a 2 hour presentation. I told the sales person I didn't want to spend a lot of money because I didn't think I'd be there more than 5 years. The quote came back really high and the person would not send me a copy of the breakdown for the estimate. Why would I even consider a company that won't give a formal written quote?
