Came out and measured roof to provide estimate. It’s been a month and a half and still no written estimate and no return phone calls. Poor customer service. Will go elsewhere. Don’t waste your time.
I don't really write many reviews, positive or negative. However, this one was warranted - unfortunately to serve as a warning. I received a quote and used Black Gold Roofing to put a new roof and gutters on a new project I was working on. I paid for the materials and they put down underlayment. I was then told that we needed to have someone put the facia on the chimney and seal it before they completed their work. Covid hit and unfortunately, we ran into difficulties finding a contractor that could complete and seal the chimney. After a long delay, we finally found someone to complete and seal the chimney. I called Black Gold Roofing on Jan 5, 2023, and told them I had a leak in my attic, the person answering the phone said they will give you a call back soon. Not sure why she couldn't set up a time and date. Never received a call back and I am aware with all the rain that they are very busy, but at least be professional enough to call back. I called the next day to ask office lady a question and she seemed irritated with me calling, she told me that they had 30 calls on the 5th and when they are in my area they would call me to see if I would be home to come and repair my leak.
