Usually you go to a barber, tell them what you want and they do it. Routine. Sometimes I’ll ask barbers to experiment and do what they think would look good on me. “I’m a blank canvas, show me what you got, Artist.” None of them do, makes them uncomfortable. They just do whatever you tell them to. This was my first visit and let me tell you, Betty stepped up and accepted the challenge and she KILLED it. She took my input but also put her own touches on it and I couldn’t be more pleased and impressed. Friendly people, cool tiny little spot, not at all what I was expecting and it did NOT disappoint. I got to the barbershop feeling down. I just took my dog to the chiropractor and they pronounced him terminal for Covid 19. I walked in with low self esteem and a depressed mood. That’s when Eddie worked his magic. Starting off with a wash he massaged my scalp with the fingers of a goddess. Already feeling better I asked him if he wanted a reference photo, he looked at me with a sly wink and replied, “I’ve got it bubba”. He then proceeded to give me the most wonderful haircut. Aside from the day I was born this was the most life changing event. Thank you Eddie… thank you.
