3955 Bonita Rd, Bonita“I go to Bonita Kaiser for my primary care, pharmacy, glasses, labs, and mammograms. It's a small campus and feels intimate. My doctor, Glen Murphy, M.D. is great. He's been our primary care doctor since at least 2005. and we are very happy with his care. He listens and gives excellent advice. He always believes what the patient is saying and is willing to work with you on a treatment. The facilities themselves have undergone a renovation which makes them look more "modern." Bonita is a semi-rural area and the update looks out of place. The buildings used to be made of wood and have a style more congruent with the rural surroundings. But, despite the fact I'm not a fan of the new remodel, I am a fan of the service. It's been very good and I have no real complaints except it's hard these days to get an in-person consult with your doctor. The system is overwhelmed since the end of COVID-19.“

3333 Camino del Rio S Ste 205B, San Diego“I recently had a Microneedling done with Amber. She was patient, knowledgeable super skilled and sweet. She was very mindful about my low pain tolerance and would warn me before moving on to a new area which i really appreciated. She took her time to deliver really great results and paid attention to detail. She was also really mindful about my key problem areas and spent more time trying to solve those rather than just give me a treatment. I highly recommend EA for all of your beauty + self care needs!“

1510 Sweetwater Rd B, National City“8/13/25 First time coming today and it was overall amazing and a breath of fresh air. Before I came to the sweet water location I was being seen by a rude doctor (not from akeso) who would cut me off while explaining symptoms, not listen or respond to them, and rushed my visit so I was really nervous / afraid to be seen by a new doctor. Dr Gray and her new trainee were so amazing and compassionate. They listened very well. Dr Gray checked my body and explained everything so thoroughly. I started to cry because I haven't had such amazing care before. They made me feel heard and gave me the emotional understanding I really needed. Dr Gray really gave me hope and made me feel more confident in my recovery. The front desk ladies (forgot their names) were awesome and helpful. Cesar the Physical therapist seems like a great human and I look forward to my first PT session. Thank you for being wonderful human beings! It's very needed in this world.
8/25 EDIT: I had my first Physical Therapy appointment with Mandy! Mandy was extremely professional, caring, educational, and very fun to talk to. I felt very comfortable. Mandy assessed my condition thoroughly and educated me on everything. Honestly one of the best physical therapy sessions I ever had.I have more hope about my healing. I look forward to my follow up appointments! I highly recommend Mandy & Akeso on Sweetwater Road to everyone.“

5507 El Cajon Blvd B, San Diego“Very good doctor and nice staff. Except when many appointments are made so closed to each other, sometimes appointments are scheduled at the same time for different patients and the wait is 1 hour for us to see the doctor with appointment. I myself with an infant, now is a toddler have had frustrated waiting time in the front door.“

8851 Center Dr #208, La Mesa“There was a "Northern California Clinical Research Center" but now there is one in Southern California too. This new facility is an offshoot of a" multi-therapeutic, pharmaceutical and device Research Center" that originally opened in Sacramento in early 2009. Their Linked-in info page proudly proclaims that this facility is "not under the jurisdiction of any local Hospital or University; (therefore) any central IRB that you or your sponsor chooses can be utilized." ( I think what that means is this place does not need to follow protocols foisted upon its' studies by higher ups in academia.) I am enrolled in one of their clinical research studies and so far--so good. I have learned to make my appointments first thing in the morning, when they open. That way, things don't get back-logged up and you can get in and out of their office quickly. The employees are friendly and appear efficient although it took two pokes in my arm with a butterfly needle to get my blood out today. I am giving SCCRC 5 YELP STARS for quality in clinical studies and research.“

111 Elm St, San Diego“the pace driver today was such a jerk. He parked behind a handicap spot rather than IN the handicap spot. So I pull into the handicap spot and there are 2 spots to wheel someone up the harborview assisted living. He told me to get out of the spot. I said you can take your guy right there. It was a complete straight shot for him. He said NO!!! I had to move and he needed to be right where my car was. Which was NOT true. Stupidly I moved. And to the middle of the street attempting to squeeze my dad with a walker between 2 cars and up a small bump since he was exhausted and upset with his dementia causing him to be angry. The driver of the Pace vehicle said, " That's a handicap spot. Do you have a handicap placard?" I do. And what a J E R K he was. So I will complain as it is very difficult to deal with my barely walking father rather than his guy in a wheel chair who was slumped over and doesn't say a word.“
