“This is my experience with Felix.<br><br>Judge for yourself if he deserved a rating of 5 or not. Or if deserves a 6 (?)<br><br>FIRST OF ALL: When I found his existing Yelp page and saw there was ONLY 5-star reviews, I was suspicious. One time I rented an AirBnb and after the rental was over the scam was "I'll give you a discount for a 5-star review". Was this the case with Felix Backflow? ANSWER: not at all.<br><br>SECOND: My purpose in getting my irrigation backflow device tested is that I had ASSUMED that the device doubled as a pressure reducer. By email, when making my appointment, Felix advised that no, backflow only does backflow prevention. Just now he told me in person "there might be a 10% reduction in pressure as it goes through the passages, but it's not designed to reduce pressure".<br><br>THIRD: He arrived on time, and on a Saturday afternoon (his preference, I think because he had a nearby appointment earlier anyway). He had previously advised me by email that a backflow test was $65.00 and a rubber kit installation was $230, if repair is needed.<br><br>FOURTH: He tested my backflow. He said it functioning normally. He answered my questions about irrigation pressure and gave me some reasonable advice.<br><br>FIFTH: I asked him as he picked up his toolbox and work order clipboard, "how can I pay you? Do you take check?" HIS ANSWER: "Oh, no charge. I was in the area anyway. If you want to, just put your experience online... what is that site? I can never remember..." (It was YELP!) He shook my hand and I said I felt like hugging him! (No hug actually took place).<br><br>So there you go... THIS WAS UNBELIEVABLE! He made a housecall, tested my backflow, and DID NOT CHARGE me!<br><br>Of course he'll probably charge you... and I am not sure why he didn't charge me... but he didn't.<br><br>So now I have my opinion of Felix BackfloW Prevention. With NO negative reviews, and all 5-stars, it's well-deserved. Honest, knowledgeble, kind.“

“We sorely needed new pavement for our front driveway and garage. It was all the original stuff from back when the property was built in the late 1970s. Powerhouse wasn't the first company we called, nor were they the cheapest -- but we got an immediate sense from the owner Jack when he did the initial walkthrough and bid that we would be in good hands if we went with them to replace both the driveway and garage flooring.<br><br>I think it is the up-front and transparent manner in which Jack approaches his business. He let us know up front all potential pitfalls, gave us a wealth of information about types of concrete, and even told us up-front that our original choice of Pavers had the potential to cost us more in the long run. Well-informed, we decided to go with stamped concrete with rebar, and within a week the jackhammers were knocking all the old stuff out.<br><br>His workers were friendly, efficient and finished in a week. We are extremely happy with the end result, the customer service rendered, and value we received for the product. Our neighbors can't stop raving about the end result, and we are incredibly happy as well!“

CCI, run by the owner Tommy and his son Luis, came trough in a big way. They not only did a great quality job, but were very professional in the whole process. Tommy started working right away even though they were super busy at the time, and Luis kept updating me on the status of fabrication and build by sending periodic updates along with pictures of my railing and gate. Let me tell you all, after working with many contractors, this is a rarity - it's true professionalism at its best. “Received several quotes for a specific job. I was very weary about what the job entailed and just needed someone knowledgable and reliable. I wanted someone to stick to their timeline because the specific project affected 2 bedrooms, 1 of which was my kids' bedroom. Nathan came in, assured me of the work and stayed within his timeline. Bedrooms were done in no time. I then had him price out electrical and additional work in the kitchen. I like that I trust him and his team. They are professional and clean up everyday. I have a thing about dust and they took care of it daily. I highly recommend them!“
