Dr Chong and staff are wonderful, we use them not only for our training client dogs but dogs we train for law enforcement and our personal dogs. We are very fortunate to have them in such a small town.

I rescued a dumped kitten from the cat colony at the Vons here in town Sept 2023. I was leery about her health and attitude since she was in the colony but decided to take the chance on her because she was so small and cute. I had her at home over the weekend and took her in Monday morning to see Doctor Chong to verify she was disease free and healthy. She was! Doctor Chong and her staff were very gentle with my new kitty, recommended the necessary vaccinations and tests. I was concerned about a constant cough the kitty had and ask if we should look into it further or start a treatment, Doctor Chong declined and said she didn't like to just prescribe meds without giving the cough time to go away on its own and said that doing tests at this point was unnecessary, to save my money. She was correct! My kitty only coughs every once in a great while now, Doctor Chong said it most likely is seasonal allergies - just like a human. I HIGHLY recommend Doctor Chong and her staff to care for your loved furbabies.

I spent a week up by Blue Lake and my dog showed signs of a bladder infection. I called all the vets in Bishop trying to make a same-day appointment. Despite being fully booked, Dr. Chong’s assistant kindly offered to check with Dr.Chong to see if she could work us in. She could! I so appreciate that extra customer service and TLC toward my dog. I would definitely make Dr. Chong and the Mountain View Animal Hospital my go-to vet if I lived here!
