The staff here were super friendly, and nice to chat with while they cut my hair. The lady who cut my hair did an awesome job too. If I lived here, this would be my go to barber shop.

I called for a hair cut but didn't realize they had just closed. But Murphy said "get on over here and I'll open back up to cut your hair." What??? So amazing and generous. Then when I showed up shortly after, I got a very good haircut and had an excellent time chatting about motorcycles, the history of Big Bear, etc. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I needed a place to take my son for a haircut. Everyone in Murphy's was very friendly. When I told them I don't live in Big Bear, they offered tips on local eateries that are off the beaten path. This is a great traditional barber shop.
