Baffled at the cost of this hotel, nothing special at all, it’s just famous and has a grand entrance but that’s it! Feels 50% overpriced on everything. No major complaints just price when compared to previous experiences.
It's probably the nicest place I've ever stayed in. I'm glad we had the opportunity to spend a night here.Rooms: Very clean, comfortable, nice atmosphere.Food & drinks: The rooftop dining room provides a great view. Excellent food, comfortable, quiet atmosphere. Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. I had scallops, and my wife had steak. Best steak and scallops I've ever tasted!Noteworthy details: Lots of Hollywood history here. Photos ranging from presidents to dignitaries to movie stars adorn the walls in and around the lobby. Most have plaques with information about the people and events in the photo.
Not impressed at all. Take normal hotel inflated food and drink prices and add 50% and you get this place. The heater just keeping blowing cold air. No deadbolt on the door. No coffee in the room. The sound transfers from other rooms is terrible, you can hear everything. As a diamond member you don't even get a lousy bottle of water.First and last time staying at this property.
