Cocoa is a hyper-vigilant rescue pit, with a few social challenges. Matt not only was able to with patience and professionalism, earn her trust, and help with her behaviors, he was also able to teach me, ways to manage when she and I are in the wild. He is very hands on, and teaches key fundamentals when handling a dog, and working with the world around them.<br><br>I literally on multiple occasions have been able to handle situations without panic and stress due to Matt’s training. Cocoa also has been managing her stress better as well. “We have two chihuahua mix rescues who have both benefited greatly from their training with Alexandra. One of our dogs was reactive, and its now much easier to bring him on walks as well as have visitors to our home. The other was quite skittish which made training on our own tricky. Alexandra really helped us navigate his needs and build up his confidence. Both of our dogs are more confident and much better citizens since they started training. Also, while we originally did training in person and weren't quite sure how well virtual training would go, Alexandra navigates Zoom training remarkably and we don't feel like we're losing anything from not having in-person sessions.“

“I took my dog Pharaoh to Yael and IPet after a terrible car accident. The previous surgeon said that Pharaoh would have to have her leg amputated. They diagnosed nerve damage. “Pharaoh will never move this leg or have feeling in it ever again”. After ONE session with Yael, Pharaoh returned movement and feeling to her leg. “Highly recommended! I had the puppy blues and was completely overwhelmed with where to start and what to do. Our puppy was very difficult to walk, biting, and all around puppy-like (of course!) but it was leaving me overwhelmed. We signed up for Puppy Kindergarten and it made a huge difference. By the end of the session you have all the tools you need to keep the training going on your own. For me, it was helpful to have accountability with the class environment. It also helped me reframe the way I saw her and all my frustrations. After all, she's just a puppy and she didn't know what I wanted her to do! She can now do sit, down, come, and loose leash walk with minimal guidance from me. It's a huge turnaround in a very short amount of time. Thank you, Tracy!“

“Our favorite doggy daycare! We left our pups to board here during a long vacation and they had a great time. We loved the pupdates we got everyday and enjoyed seeing our dogs having a blast on their instagram stories. Ian and his staff make us feel so comfortable leaving our dogs with them. It was our first time leaving our babies here so we were very apprehensive, but from the moment we met Jan, my wife felt so much better and our dogs were very relaxed. “We highly recommend working with Dee for any and all dog needs!<br>We rescued a 10 month old puppy this spring and added her to our family with two other dogs and a cat.<br><br>Within the first week we discovered our new member was extremely anxious (she escaped once and was gone for hours), was up through the night and not housebroken. This prompted us to connect with Dee where we collaborated on our goals together, and set our focus on reducing anxiety, potty and crate training, and teaching hand signals to keep our pup from bolting out the door.<br><br>Two months later, we are THRILLED to report that our puppy’s anxiety levels are down dramatically, she is 99% potty trained, fully crate trained and sleeping through the night and not a single attempt at an escape. An added bonus is seeing the benefit all of this has had on our other dogs and how quickly the puppy and cat were able to integrate.<br><br>We did our meetings with Dee over FaceTime, starting at 3 to 4 times a week, and naturally decreasing as Dee’s program was so effective. Dee is extremely knowledgeable, provides clear instruction, and has a way of explaining situations from a dog’s perspective that makes it easy to understand the interventions.<br><br>Scheduling time with her was easy. We greatly appreciated her being firm about following guidelines because it kept us on track. However, she is also understanding and flexible when we expressed needing adjustments based on our own lifestyle or goals for our family.<br><br>We have a calm and cohesive family and are beyond grateful for Dee who was integral in this process.“
