Optometrix stores are the best retail outlets to buy eye wear in Los Angeles. There are 3 locations (Brentwood, BH, Hollywood). Dr Myles and Dr Tina are great Optometrists, and their staff are friendly and helpful. I've highly recommended them to all my friends and family for many years now.
