“If you have long hair, especially if it is thick &/or coarse hair, this is our sanctuary. Give yourself some peace & make the appointment immediately.

Jessie is such a passionate, talented, knowledgeable, mindful, beautiful, & special soul! I left with happy tears in my eyes & nearly cried with joy & relief on the way home while gushing to my mother. Some people may find this dramatic, but if you know, you know & my words are for you.

Not one time, & I'm not exaggerating, has a stylist EVER expressed joy & excitement to have me in their chair like Jessie did. I have always been made to feel like a burden because my hair is coarse, thick, & often very long.. I have been butchered time & again by careless, impatient stylists who dismissed my concerns & boundaries, imposing their beliefs on my hair while ironically understanding very little about hair or its value & power.

“I first came to Coco after the most stressful year of my life. I had been working long hours in a demanding role that left me burned out and physically drained. I used to be in great shape. But in that year, between work and having contracted Covid related bronchitis, keeping up on my physique just got away from me. One day I looked in the mirror and didn't like the way my clothing sat on me anymore. My legs and waist had become engorged and lost their definition, and the texture of my skin was no longer smooth. Cellulite had begun to form. I came to Coco for a physical reboot. We've been working together doing ultrasound cavitation, cellulite blasting, and Endermologie. I was living in Atlanta and I couldn't find anyone to do my lashes even close to Tay's lash level. When I knew I was coming to LA I would immediately book with Tay. I am only a little unhappy due to that my curl was not done symmetrically. the innermost eyelashes are much more curled than the outer most lashes. I think this is not the ideal shape for me & I feel a more experienced stylist such as owner would have done it differently. He rubbed Ruby Red throughout with Golden Sunlight to get the Perfect color!
