We hired Planted Earth to completely renovate the landscaping around our house in Oakland. This included design, demolition, earth removal, hardscaping (multiple retaining walls), decking, planting, lighting, and irrigation.The results were spectacular and working with Mick, Ann, Manuel, Carlos, and the various crews was great. I've worked with Mick on 3 projects across 2 properties and always found him responsive and thoughtful. He sees his projects through, is well versed in local plant selection and is flexible as projects change. As an architect myself, I appreciate Mick's attention to detail and follow through.

We hired Planted Earth to redo our backyard and driveway. Prior to hiring them, we interviewed 2 other landscape designers and Michael was the only one who had a vision for our yard. We had also seen Michael's work at a neighboring house.The scope of the project included a new driveway, drainage, deck, patio, fence, and project managing the installation of a prefab shed/office. The design phase was smooth and we had a good idea of what the end result should be. Michael and Ann presented multiple ideas and options with different price points.
