I had a lovely haircut by Nick at Keter salon a few months back. He went above and beyond in one aspect that will impact my life forever - he spotted a strange mole on the back of my ear and let me know I should have it checked out. I’m only 29 but it turns out the mole was invasive melanoma. A couple operations, and a slightly smaller ear later (they had to remove some cartilage to reconstruct after removing tissue around the melanoma) and I am good to go!! If this wasn’t found until it was over 1 mm thick I might’ve lost my ear. If it wasn’t found for even longer, I’d be battling a very aggressive/sometimes deadly form cancer. I had pretty much about 3" long mess of half-formed waves on my head and left with a cute pixie. What is even more important, it has been two weeks and it is still cute. And I just wash my hair and let it air dry. Thank you Nelly!

Found this spot and wanted a last minute haircut and got Nick and he did a really good job. Made some good recommendations on my haircut and delivered a really nice cut which even my mom approved of (and she often doesn't like the haircuts I get). He was also a lovely man and I quite enjoyed my conversation with him. Glad I found a spot in the east bay and a new stylist in the area.
