My husband and I bought our first house in May 2022. We had our first meeting with Betsy Thagard in January 2022, and from the very beginning, Betsy was an incredible resource for two first-time buyers -- she was so patient and thoughtful, helping us navigate the often confusing process and giving us excellent advice that was always realistic and straightforward. Betsy kept it real; she helped us temper our expectations given the market complexities, never allowing us to stray too far from what was within our budget while keeping our must-haves in mind. Betsy was constantly guiding us and advocating for us, mentoring us on what was realistic for our circumstances. We also gained a wealth of recommendations on contractors and other services we needed after closing the sale as well as navigating a repair when there was minor damage to the home during closing. And Betsy's assistant Sanjani was also knowledgeable and responsive, a joy to work with too. We loved that Betsy chose to donate a portion of her earnings to a climate-oriented organization of our choice. This is super important to us, and it felt great to have a realtor with that in common. Betsy was ALWAYS there when we needed her, available by text and email with no judgement when we had a crazy amount of questions. The process of selling our house couldn't have gone more smoothly, and that is because we chose Betsy and Kathryn as our realtors (with a shout out to their helper Sanjani!). They were patient, timely, professional and had an army of handypeople, painters, gardeners, stagers and others who were able to jump on our home and prep it quickly and beautifully. Betsy and Kathryn are responsive, kind, and knowledgable. They held our hands through the entire process, from initial meeting to close of escrow. I trusted them entirely. My mantra became, "do whatever you think is best," and they did just that - I was able to be hands off, which is just what I wanted. We were pleased both with the process and final outcome. That they donate some of their commission to good causes is just a bonus, and shows you what kind of people they are. Can't recommend them more highly - hire Betsy and Kathryn!

I am more than happy to have listed my house with Kathryn Stein and Betsy Thagard at the helm! They managed to round up painters, gardener, handyman and stager and more within a week's time to get my house on the market while the market is hot. That was incredible given the demand for these kinds of services. With their collective long time experience in real estate in the area, they helped me negotiate and make good decisions regarding the many offers that came in. These highly professional and communicative women were readily available for answering my questions and concerns. My house looked fantastic and sold for a very good price.
