I have been in two head-on collisions in my life, neither of which was I driving, and one happened very early in my childhood, so there were some very deep misalignments in my neck when the 2nd one happened in my late 20's. Needless to say, this was excruciatingly painful for me, and I had been seeing a chiropractor every month for almost 10 years before I found Dr. Burg. Very few chiropractors practice Active Release Technique, Graston Technique and regular chiropractics, all of which were extremely beneficial for me, and helped to relieve a lot of tension in my neck and shoulders. Dr. Burg listened intently to my situation, looked at my x-rays closely, and I believe treated me appropriately for what we thought to be the issue. But after several months of intensive therapy, he told me about PRP and Prolotherapy (which no other chiropractor had ever mentioned to me before) and suggested that I might benefit more from this type of treatment as everything we were doing wasn't getting to the "root of the problem", which was that my tendons had been damaged and needed a way to heal. I have since gotten two PRP treatments for my neck and shoulders and am pleased to report that the results have been fantastic and I am nearly pain-free. (I would say maybe 95% better and I'm considering going back for 1 more treatment on my shoulders). So, I found Dr. Burg to be attentive, caring, knowledgable, and honest. He is a fantastic chiropractor and will steer you in the direction towards healing and solving the problem whatever it may be! Thank-you Dr. Burg!
Wonderful. Careful, clear, diagnosis and treatments. I went to Dr. Burg with a hip issue that wasn't getting completely resolved and keeping me from my tai chi and table tennis practices. He evaluated the hip, back and muscles involves. His treatments and the recommendation for Pilates have improved everything and I suspect I'll be better that I have been in years. I suspect over use exacerbated a long standing weakness. Yea for Dr. Burg.
