I am afraid of doctors, so finding a pediatrician for my kids (elementary-school age and newborn) was an exceptionally daunting task. I could not be happier with the care they receive from Berkeley Pediatrics. Every staff member is an extremely competent, huge hearted person that goes above and beyond for their patients. Special shoutout to Dr. AnneMarie Franks, whose gentle humor and wealth of knowledge make her nothing short of a hero in my eyes. Every time one of my kids are sick, they are seen right away and shown a ton of compassion. I'm sure I come off as cold or rude at times due to my fears, and my family still receives nothing but respect and empathy in return. I am extremely grateful to have found them. Berkeley Pediatrics is top-notch!

I've had solid good care for my kids at Berkeley Pedes for many years. I just wish they weren't so chronically late all the time. Maybe appointments need to be scheduled differently, but I'm tired of showing up and waiting 30-40 minutes to be seen. Literally every time.

We've been with Berkeley Pediatrics for 7 years. The doctors have all been amazing, which is why we've been staying, especially overseeing our daughter's chronic condition. However the administrative side of the office is why we are leaving. Regarding the administrative side, their follow through is non existent ("we'll call you to schedule" or "we'll have the doctor call you" but it never happens), their processes are inconsistent ("that's only done through MyChart" and for the same thing "you have to call in and request"), nothing is done in a timely manner (even when it's an emergency, "it'll take up to two weeks to get the doctor's signature") and the rude tone is palpable. The admin side used to be great 3ish years ago, but it has disintegrated quickly and left such a stain on what was once an all around great pediatric practice.
