Adelle was chipper and empathetic when I came in for a massage and paid with a groupon, despite my past experiences with other local businesses that meet you with "Groupon face" once they know how you'll be paying. I explained my long-term back problems and my priorities (deep tissue results over short-term pain and discomfort), and for days afterwards my posture was different after she went harder than other CMTs have been willing to go on my back. I'm not much for smalltalk so while she was working I asked how much of what I'd paid to Groupon she would actually get back, and I think I figured out why the "Groupon face" everywhere else.... read full review

Love the photo of Adelle's kindly face and the four 5-star reviews. Both are the reasons I purchased a 90-minute massage for $60 on Groupon. Initially I called the phone number on my Groupon (expiration 10/31/16) and my message went unreturned for a couple of weeks. I finally used the Sparrow Hawk booking form on the website, and Adelle (the therapist behind Sparrow Hawk Healing Arts) got back to me to say she would be unable to give me a massage by the expiration date due to an unforeseen move.
