    When our daughter started taking lessons back in 2019 at the Foster City site, we were unaware of this particular location.Due to the winter season and the new Foster City site construction, she started training here.We live in San Carlos so she might stick around depending on the logistics of her other extracurricular activities.

    I love this place. My daughter (11) started taking classes here in February. Classes are attended by kids and teens between 5 and 16. However, the instructors Master Carlos and Master Michelle allow parents to participate. I (48) used to do Shotokan Karate and kickboxing when I was teenager, but haven't practiced for 30 years. I am now enjoying a revival and thanks to this new family activity I am already noticing the beneficial effects on my coordination, strength, and endurance.     We have been going to Gold Medal Belmont since 2013. Grand Master Herb Perez and his staff have always been very supportive. We have grown and developed in Taekwondo but also on a personal level thanks to Gold Medal. Most recently, during COVID, instructors Michelle and Carlos have been a godsend, and they always go the extra mile to help the students. They care about the kids first-and-foremost while providing instruction, training, and discipline. And they also keep it fun, welcoming, and provide a positive community.
