“Our story starts out with getting a quote from the YELP Machine, a total of 7 quotes were obtained for my front yard. Dimensions were given as context and gopher holes mentioned. The ones that didn't win the bid were quick wham-bam thank you ma'am text messages about price. Yes I know - it's important but I don't need to sniff a bulls ass to know I'm getting a filet, at the same token I'm not some woke slob that expects to pay hamburger price for prime rib ... capeesh? Service = education is key, know what you're getting and why. Mark came out and double checked my measurements, also was kind enough to take out the paver measurements and offer to get another one that I hijacked for another project. Walked me thru the steps of what the install involves, cost break down and also provided that military discount. Now here's where Mark's experience shines thru - he knows the value of the hard earned dollar and won't bend you over. Asks the right questions depending on the application; how much traffic, why get it and the possible need for the gopher wire (worth a google). Samples were laid out, I got schooled in the art of synthetic grass, we got straight to the point and he was available on phone when I had questions later. Service # 2 = like I said that part about education, Oscar the foreman and his crew showed up at 7:55am ready to conquer that one nasty yard on the block and elevate me back to good graces in the neighborhood. Some of the weeds came back and laughed after I tried to push them back with the weed whacker. Oscar the botanist ... I mean the foreman gave me a 10 minute course on these weeds, how to control, what to look for and how to destroy them (my back yard is a jungle ready for napalm at this point). He gave me the option to add a lime and salt treatment that will definitely give these stubborn weeds a kick in the nuts and stunt their growth. Not mandatory, but for what I want this project for, we ran the numbers and it was acceptable. Oscar was kind enough to allow my neighbor to have all the softball sized rocks cultivated from my front yard as well as let me take a little gopher wire for a flower bed off to the side. Service # 3 = the crew operated like a well oiled machine, communicated my one off needs here/there and they were able to accommodate. Cleanup was on par and left my place looking like a pic filtered real estate listing. Special shoutout to Eric at the back office for making the paperwork process so easy to handle as well. No complaints, other than you'll probably rabbit hole lawn ornaments on Amazon or google.“

“We hired Talgarden to fix our yard after a year of moving into our new place. We moved at the tail end of my cancer treatment and the yard was one of those things that was neglected in that first year. When we finally had the wherewithal to tackle it, we realized that the previous owners had just cut the grass and trimmed the bushes before selling, but hadn't dealt with any of the underlying yard issues.We hired Talgarden to do the big clean up and we've had them doing weekly maintenance for the past five months since.Joseph was easy to communicate with and set up the initial assessment and date for the big fix. “We just finished up having Marvel Landscapes design and build a brand new garden area in our backyard. I could not recommend them more! Marvin, Jaime, and the team did a wonderful job. This company was professional, easy to work with, reasonably priced, and most importantly created a peaceful sanctuary in our yard that we love!The process started with them coming to the property to take measurements. Then we sent over a vision board of inspiration pictures and ML got back to us with a CAD style design and cost estimate. The costs were going to be higher than we were imagining (we had not provided a budget) and ML worked with us to see where we could scale back so we could get the most impact for our dollar spend. They built up and flattened out the garden area, cleared the space, and prepped for planting. We got to walk through the nursery and learn about different plants, care instructions, what blooms in which season, etc. ML installed a new sprinkler line for the space, planted, created gravel pathways, etc. and finished the project. Communication was great and available via call, text, and in person. We always knew when they would be arriving and they were professional. Hauled off all trash and debris so we weren't left with any mess. ML consulted with us on how to care for each new plant, how much growth to expect, and next steps if we want to add on. We would use them again in a heartbeat!“

“I contacted Liu Landscape after running into some difficulty with my sideyard and backyard renovation. Crystal quickly scheduled a site visit, and I could tell right away she was very knowledgeable about planning and permitting for my city. This was of utmost importance to me since I had to fire my prior contractor for reneging on promised permits. I requested a 3D design (hardscaping, outdoor kitchen, turf, outdoor tile) and was able to find a lot of inspiration from the company's own website. Crystal delivered the initial design and requested revisions within a couple of days. I really loved the modern design, and we requested a quote for construction as well. Ultimately, I did not pursue construction with Liu Landscape, but this was mostly due to personal budgetary constraints. Her quote was actually very competitive (compared to 5+ other bids). Over several months, Crystal remained willing to correspond with and help me with my project. She even provided a 2D layout upon request. Regarding her communication style, Crystal is quite matter-of-fact over text and e-mails and warm during in-person meetings. It was a very difficult decision to not work with Liu Landscape, because I really loved the design and plan. As mentioned above, I cannot comment specifically on construction, but had positive experiences with communication and design/planning services.“

“From start to finish we had an exceptional experience with Patti and Alan. We had a long and painful ordeal having our back yard landscaped by another company so when we decided that we wanted our front yard to look nice and give our home some curb appeal, we met with numerous companies to see who would be the right fit.
