Tim is an amazing acupuncturist and herbalist and a true professional. He's not only very skilled, but happens to be a very kind and caring person as well. He's well-trained in the art of moxibustion, which is an essential aspect of Chinese medicine and very important to healing. He has extensive academic training, but is especially knowledgeable because he received training as an apprentice. It's hard to find practitioners who learned through a traditional apprenticeship in Chinese medicine. I'm an acupuncturist myself and really appreciate Tim's calm and reassuring approach. I have always relied on western medicine for all my health needs. Eastern medicine was something that my parents believed in and was not really my cup of tea. Then it all changed when I became pregnant with my fourth child at age 41. Never before had I experienced such morning sickness. I tried everything there was to try. My OB at first recommend vitamin B6 with unisom, which failed to work, so then I was given a prescription anti nausea meds which also did not work. I'm a skeptic...no longer! I've had a recurring shoulder injury where any sudden movement causes my arm to pop out of the joint. It's happened over 20 times. I've lost tremendous range of motion. It's not only been debilitating, but depressing. I just had a treatment today, and my ROM (range of motion) increased dramatically. I'm not saying that I won't need other methods of rehab or even surgery, but I do know that I could not lift it straight into the air and after one session I could.
