“I was an avid runner, recovering from old chronic use injuries. I transitioned to HIIT style workouts that combined strength/resistance, cardio/plyometrics, etc. I ended up with terrible pain deep in my hip/groin which limited mobility. I thought I just pulled something. After about 2 weeks of worsening symptoms, I decided to just go to a chiropractor. I googled around, looked at reviews, and decided to go with Active Life. I’m so glad I did. Dr. Walker helped me greatly. To begin with, on my very 1st visit, he did some mobility tests, and told me I may have a labral tear in my hip. Dr. Walker continued on with modified adjustment, being extra cautious with my injured hip/groin area. He recommended I see my primary doctor, and get an MRI. (which I did ASAP, and Dr. Walker was 100% correct; I had a torn hip labrum) As a result, I’ve been able to modify my workout routine to protect, and strengthen that area. Plus, my regular adjustments with Dr. Walker have helped me so much in my recovery. Each time I go, I feel so much improvement in the way I stand, walk, run, and jump. I have much better mobility, strength, and overall stability. All my pain has decreased, and I feel so much more positive about my ability to return to a fully active lifestyle. As a final shoutout, the front desk staff, and all the PT-assistants that provide e-stim treatments are all so positive, understanding, and professional. I recommend Active Life with the highest regards. The wonderful people here really know how to take care of you, and help you on your way to total wellness! (Thanks, Dr. Walker & Active Life!!!)“

“I've been seeing Dr. Sparks at California Chiropractic for two years, primarily for lower back pain due to long hours of teleworking. From day one, I appreciated his transparency--he made it clear that if surgery were necessary, he wouldn't be able to take me on as a patient. After a thorough examination, he pinpointed my pain and even identified tension in my neck that I wasn't aware of. I felt relief after the first session! Dr. Sparks takes the time to teach me effective stretches and resources to relieve tension, and he explains in detail which muscles to target. His staff is accommodating and flexible with scheduling, which is great for my work-life balance since I can book appointments after 5 PM without taking time off. Recently, I felt a bump on my neck, and Dr. Sparks examined it thoroughly. He identified it as an inflamed supraclavicular lymph node and advised me to follow up with my primary doctor. Thanks to his thoroughness, I got an ultrasound that confirmed the inflammation, but thankfully it was not malignant. Although it was a very stressful experience it has only made me more trusting of Dr. Sparks he knows the anatomy of the body and is a subject matter expert and is able to accurately pin point with precision. I trust Dr. Sparks completely and have recommended him to friends and family, all of whom have had great experiences. I highly recommend California Chiropractic!"“

“I had an appointment today with Dr Singh through the VA and when I checked the online reviews I was a little concerned and unsure what to expect. I can honestly report that even with triple digit weather outside the lobby though a little smaller was VERY COOL AND COMFORTABLE. So I'm going to assume anybody that previously complained about the AC they either addressed it, or those people just wanted to complain about something because I'm a larger hairy guy and it was very cool inside. The waiting room was a little smaller than I expected but it was very clean, quiet, and had a restroom available so you didn't have to hunt one down if needed. Dr Singh was very kind and professional. The staff that I did interact with seemed friendly and helpful. This urgent care is not in my living area but if I did live closer to it I would definitely recommend this location.“
