“When we decided to remodel our kitchen we randomly drove around looking for kitchen shops. We found SKB open late on a Tuesday afternoon, and Rick welcomed us into the showroom and started chatting. He scheduled us a measure appointment at our house, and it all snowballed from there! He helped us design our kitchen, shopped for each of the design elements, and coordinated all the work through his highly skilled contractors, Dave and Henry. We never felt pressured into making any decisions, but rather Rick and his team are so knowledgeable in what they do we felt confident in their suggestions. I truly feel that I ended up with a kitchen that even exceeded what I had set out to achieve, so much so that when I watch TV shows or look on Zillow at other homes, there's no homes (even at higher price points than mine!) that have a kitchen that i like nearly as much as my own :). Since renovating our kitchen, which in fact was a complete gut and overhaul of our previous kitchen, i have been cooking and baking so much more than before, thanks to newer, quality appliances and the openness of the kitchen. My baked goods are in such high demand at work, and my coworkers want to have our staff meetings at my house just to take advantage of the kitchen and the open flow of the kitchen/living room/dining room. Definitely one of the things that every person comments on is the backsplash (pictured) that Rick helped us pick, as well as the spaciousness and usefulness of the kitchen island and the "Fanciness" of the pantry door. Once the project got started, it actually went so quickly that it finished a few weeks ahead of schedule, which is always a welcome occurrence. I definitely would use SKB again, especially if my husband would let me redo our guest bathroom :)“
