Cailin is incredible! I have had several tattoos, and most of them have been with good artists, but I never felt comfortable, making sure that it was exactly what I wanted. From the start, Cailin's main goal was to make sure I was going to be happy. This was a cover-up, so it was very tricky. She spent a lot of time before hand going over what I liked and didn't like, and making something that I would love. I have never felt so at ease or supported with an artist before. I will definitely be back and can't recommend her enough! No gimmicks, no pressure, no pushing products in her shop, it's Cailin and her art, and her art is magnificent!

Scheduling was easy and within a reasonable amount of time. Arrived on time. Put down sheets to protect our flooring, took his time cleaning our wood stove and chimney thoroughly, and left everything clean and wiped down. Will most definitely use the company again year after year.
We had 3 large oak trees that had to be removed and Lyons Tree Service removed all of them quickly and professionally. Mike and his crew did everything they said they would and left our yard in great shape. I’d highly recommend them!
I just recently started coming to this clinic, but am very pleased with all of my experiences so far! The lab techs are great - both skilled with the needle for sure! No problems whatsoever there... and it was a nice, relaxed, friendly environment. My medical appointments went smoothly as well. We spent lots of time discussing things... no rush whatsoever! This was a big contrast to some of the other doctors offices I've been to in the past. The subject(s) we discussed were actually new to me, so I had a lot of questions - all of which were answered! No "pop in and out" by the doctor because she was trying to see too many patients or anything like that. The nurse also spent time talking to me as well. They worked together well as a team too. Since the appointment, follow up has been impressive. No problems with prescriptions coming in (mailed to me)... I've been contacted for further follow up with specialists as expected and so on. They're doing a great job of tracking everything. I'm very impressed with the personalized service i've received. Actually looking forward to future visits

I recently did a massage trade with Stacey in exchange for a haircut, and I couldn't be happier with the results. My boyfriend commented that it's his favorite cut he's seen on me in 5 years! I absolutely loved how bouncy, full, and wavy she made my hair look. She also styled my hair for a wedding party I attended later, and made me feel fabulous! Great Experience!!! Was in the area, and stopped in to ask about appointments . They happened to have an opening, and Vicky got me into a chair asap. The haircut was amazing. Two quick questions, and simply the outcome was great. My hair is a little tricky to get right, and she nailed it first go. Proper trim up for the beard and the brows, ….and then…… the hot towel with a proper lineup on the beard and neck with a good ol straight razor. No where else to go in town for a great men’s cut. Best price for what you get as well. Auburn always seems to have the best to offer.

My neighbor mentioned Helen's Nails to me last year. Between all the Gardening I did this past summer and using color street my nails and cuticles were pretty thrashed and my toes to. It took Cindy a good two hours to restore nails and toes back to normal. They look much better now. I will go back at the end of the month.
I made a call to Le Star Nails totally late, after work thinking that it’s going to be to late for a full set and I was planning to make an appointment for the next day and shockingly; I was invited to just go ahead and come to the salon . Staff are great with nails- been coming here for over 6 years and they always exceed my expectations. Price odd fair and they spend time with your nails, not rushing to finish the job like some other nail salons here . Vivian is my favorite nail technician- explaining things with me, which I appreciate. I don't regularly get my nails done on any schedule but when I do want it done this is where I'll come.

Iv been going to this place for over 9 years, and Tina and the others are absolutely amazing at what they do. The environment is relaxing and everyone is very friendly. If you show them a picture of what you want, they'll totally make it happen! And even if they can't, they'll practice so that the next time you come, it'll be absolutely perfect! I get compliments everywhere I go. I highly recommend them!

I am grateful for Crystal and Summer at Vintage Rose Salon. I reached out to Crystal after I received a dreadful haircut from a different stylist and salon in Auburn. Crystal responded promptly and scheduled an appointment with Summer within the week. Summer was very friendly and welcoming when I arrived at the salon. Summer took the time to listen to my concerns and frustrations with my hair. She agreed a lot was going on with my hairstyle but was up for the challenge of fixing it. She walked me through everything she was doing while she cut my hair. She went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations. Summer is an extremely knowledgeable and professional stylist.
This is where my mom's hair stylist has her business. Amy is excellent and we drive 40 minutes just for her expertise. A dozen+ hairstylists with each having their own space. Beats having some tyrannical, greedy salon owner gouging people for their hard work. Quality is queen here and a relaxing atmosphere.

I’ve been coming to this tattoo shop quite a few times over the last year, and each time I’ve been welcomed by the warm and friendly artists who are extremely passionate about their work. I’ve mostly been coming to get some flash work done by ✨Rain and Ashlie✨, or to just hang out while my girlfriend gets her done and I always have a good time with them! I recently brought an idea for a tattoo that I’ve been wanting for awhile to Ashlie and she absolutely went above and beyond for me. The tattoo came out even better than I had ever hoped for, and the time and effort she put in to make sure each line was perfect was amazing. She always made sure I was comfortable and was doing okay since it was a longer session (6+ hrs of actual tattooing).

Had a water softener system break and Jacob, the owner, came out very quickly to install a temporary bypass so that we could have water until a new setup was installed. I found Foothill Electric through the Auburn CA Facebook page. Such a solid recommendation-- they really are the best! We had a big Oak limb come down in the middle of the night and take out all the power to our house. After dealing with the fire dept and pge till 3am, we sent an email to Foothill Electric hoping for a speedy repair. These guys don't mess around. They called me by 7am, were on the property by 8am and had our panel fully hooked up and ready for pge to turn the power back on by 10. The price was very reasonable. They are rock stars!
Dino came over on short notice to fix an electrical outage in my home office. Dino quickly diagnosed the problem and replaced the bad outlet (which was causing all 'downstream' outlets to go out, kind of like a string of Christmas lights). Dino was friendly and professional and explained everything he was doing and the price was fair given diagnose and repair in one visit. I feel very confident in the quality of Dino's work. Highly recommended!
Mike did an extensive rewiring on our 100 year old home. He was amazing to work with and kept a positive attitude. We were very please with the work. Just over a year later when we had a problem with something he had touched, even though it was totally unexpected, he came out on a holiday, went to get the retired parts, and came back to fix it. We asked what we owed and he said nothing, it was part of his warranty. Definitely stands behinds his work!

I chose to again do business with El Dorado Tile of Auburn because of my experience with this business years ago. The company has changed owners since then but still provides the same Great Customer Service and selection of Quality products in a comfortable, small business setting. Telling them my vision and "classic style" preference, they led me to the perfect tile samples. Jerry and his Sales/Customer Service person are both congenial and very customer service oriented. So glad I chose to purchase the Quality Made In Italy Porcelain Tiles from El Dorado Tile & marble rather than going to the Warehouses down the hill that several Salesperson's (who sub-out ALL the bathroom work) advised me to do! The tiles from El Dorado Tile are beautiful and a Seasoned, Experienced Tile Setter Contractor (not provided by El Dorado Tile) did a fantastic job on the install. Researched those warehouses down the hill on line and those cheaper tiles were mostly made in China or Turkey that advertised for much less money. Also, learned about complaints that the Mosaic Tiles were falling off the backing as the tile setters tried to install them! (Not allies of USA! either) Note: The gouge Scam of "put my name on it there & I will pick it up for you." No, that's double dipping & very Dishonest; as they get the Discount that You - the Client - should be getting since You pay for it! Inflation Blame on President Joe Biden? No, it is Gouging by those companies or persons that are picking your wallets!

Needed them to just drop an oak tree. However the center of the tree was non-existent due to rot. So glad I used them for their experience to drop it safely. Great value and good response.
Loved my experience at Pier 210 dental in Auburn. Being new to the area and having to find a new dentist is always difficult. They made the transition very easy. I required some major dental work and they walked me through the process from beginning to end.
As a former Registered Dental Assistant, I can personally speak on behave of the team and the work they do. Dr Phipps is so detail oriented and takes his time explaining everything and making sure to clean out everything cavity by take extra steps to checking each tooth he works on. The team (especially Erin) who is the star RDA is SO sweet and caring. Recommend Dr to everyone looking for a kind quality dentist. God bless this establishment.

I can't say enough about the quality of this dentist. He is personable, extremely gentle, does great work, and won't rip you off or deceive you. I went in expecting to get a crown for a chipped tooth. After his inspection of the tooth, I was pleasantly surprised that he was able to repair the tooth with a filling instead. He could have easily said I needed a crown, as I wouldn't have known the difference. He saved me a ton of money.
I’ve got various dental issues from an accident, and Dr. Wallace and his team are excellent. In particular, Charmaine is a wonderful, attentive, and caring hygienist with a great sense of humor too. So glad to have found this dental office!

I’ve been diagnosed with Trigeminal neuralgia….an excruciatingly painful condition. After reading success stories from those who have tried Atlas Orthogonal chiropractic and doing further research I found Dr. Harding. I’ll admit to being skeptical, but he told me he couldn’t cure it but could help 80-90%. After very few visits my flares were less frequent and less severe. It’s been 3 months now and I’m feeling so much better. Dr. Harding is so caring and his staff are so friendly. I highly recommend Dr. Harding.
Dr. Crill is amazing! He has helped my shoulder pain immensely. He really cares about helping his patients. There is never a rushed feeling or a push to book your next appointment. He is very reasonably priced. His receptionist is a delight as well! I promise you, you wont be disappointed going to Dr. Crill and his capable hands. I am 65 year old lady. My daughter who is 25 and autistic has gone to him as well. She had painful back issues that were addressed in a few visits that she had been putting up with for over a year.

Dr. Pettit was a genuinely caring and attentive provider. She made us feel at ease, patiently answering all our questions, even the ones we felt were silly. Her sincerity and warmth put us completely at ease.
We rescued a purebred 7-year-old dog from a shelter in Oregon last July that came with hidden health problems including heartworms, inflamed bowels, and heart arrhythmia. Only the heartworms were revealed upon the dog's initial wellness checkup. Normally, that's all one might expect to be noticed in such a visit. So the three-month process recommended by the American Heartworm Association to eradicate the heartworms began with a 30-day course of the antibiotic Doxycycline. However, after 3-weeks the dog became critically ill. His liver began failing and Dr. Grimes suggested IV treatments at an emergency pet clinic, which are VERY expensive. We opted for home treatments of several supplements and meds; a much less expensive alternative. Our guy began to respond very positively and a few weeks later he was MUCH better. Then just before we (Dr. Grimes and us) were planning the next phase of the heartworm eradication, that would actually kill the worms, our dog took a downturn within a couple of hours that day. He collapsed on our floor and we had to carry all 60 pounds of him to the car. We rushed him to the clinic and the staff came out to the car and helped carry him directly into treatment. Dr. Hardy and ALL of the assistants immediately began triage, running tests, and providing every possible treatment to save his life. We were VERY gratified and appreciative of their amazing all-out efforts. It was strongly recommended we take him to an emergency pet clinic and the staff set us up with one of them. All the needed test results were transmitted directly to the emergency clinic, so when we arrived the staff there were able to rush into action to help our guy. The heart arrhythmia problem was revealed and the inflamed bowels were confirmed. Unfortunately, the prognosis was pretty poor, and we realized it was time to put our guy out of his misery. Sadly he was euthanized at that point, and we took him home to permanently rest on our rural property in Nevada County under a transplanted tree. All in all, we found the Animal Clinic at Lake of the Pines to be a great resource for pet healthcare. We can't say enough good about the service and staff there. Dr. Grimes gave us a call the day after our ordeal, giving us her heartfelt condolences. When we get another pet, we will definitely return for our new pets healthcare.

I have practiced yoga for about 20 years. In 2012, I discovered Auburn Yoga Studio and met owner Gwenn Jones. With the obvious exception of the pandemic years, I’ve tried to practice yoga at least once a week. I have never been disappointed in the yoga instruction provided by Gwenn; she is an excellent teacher and has a vast knowledge of yoga and of human physiology. I trust her guidance and appreciate her sensitivity to all students in her class. She is welcoming, kind, and dedicated…her studio is always a safe environment for the beginner or advanced practitioner. Also, the studio is exceptionally clean, well lit, easy to access and equipped with a wide variety of props. I recommend Auburn Yoga Studio enthusiastically and without a moment of hesitation.

I had broken my ankle last January 2022. After months of regular physical therapy I still had a great deal of pain when doing certain sports. My range of motion wasn’t where it should be or where I wanted.Debra Barbarick worked some magic and now I’m getting back to my normal ability and my pain is all but gone.I am an avid skier and have been skiing since I was 5. My first few times out skiing this season were painful and I felt almost like a beginner. After a couple sessions with Deb I’m almost 100% and I couldn’t be happier.We have a heli skiing trip planned this February and I was nervous because of the pain. Now I’m happy and excited and can’t wait to get on those untracked powder runs!I would highly recommend her as conventional physical therapy can only get you so far.
