“Would you wait in line 2+ hours? Guardians of the Galaxy, or Taylor Swift tickets yes, but covid19 vaccine? Sept 9, 2024 first day of the new covid vaccine comes out at Kaiser, with people lined up at 8am, even though they don't open until 9am. No appointments needed -first come first served with one exception. If you are covered by Kaiser and go to Safeway, the vaccine will cost you $80. If you go to CVS it will cost you $120. Those places got the vaccine a week earlier. Medicare no longer covers the cost of the vaccine for those 65+, and the federal government no longer provides free covid vaccines for everyone else. We last got the vaccine in May 2024, but that was the same vaccine we got in Sept 2023. The Sept 9 2024 vaccine is for the new covid variants. The Mountain View Kaiser medical center is open 9am-430pm weekdays only, and closed weekends. Those of you still working will have to go to Santa Clara medical center open later hours and on weekends. We got in line at 11:15am, with the line winding around and into the building. Free wifi outside the building courtesy of city of Mountain View, covering all of the downtown area. Takes us until 1:30 to get the vaccine. There are four stations for getting the vaccine, but at times two of the stations are vacant, as the employees are out to lunch. People in wheelchairs or pushing four wheel walkers get to go to the head of the line, along with their handlers, without waiting. Security let at least 8 people jump ahead of us, even though we were waiting 2 hours in line already. At the vaccine station they look up your age, and base the amount of vaccine dose on your age. Next time, will have to check if I have any four wheeled walkers left used by my late parents.“

“Dr. Sangwan is the first primary care doctor that I’ve felt comfortable with. She’s caring, supportive, patient, knowledgeable, and current on health and medication information. I appreciate that she takes her time with me and remembers from visit to visit both little and big issues. Besides her vast knowledge, she can guide and advise you on weight loss and weight management. She makes time for calls, video calls, squeezes in an office visit and of course schedules ahead for regular visits. I enjoy talking with her and don’t feel I have to rush out feeling flustered and not remembering what happened. Her after visit summaries really sum up the visit so you have a copy in hand and on line to review.
The office staff is calm and gentle and that really helps just in case you might be a little stressed because you’re going to the doctor! They’re also efficient when you might make a couple of extra calls now and then.
If you’re in need of a new doctor, I couldn’t recommend Dr. Sangwan more highly. I always recommend her to my friends and relatives.“

“My favorite Sutter center. Care is easy to book, there's always parking and you can get seen quickly. If you make an appointment for urgent care, you get seen quickly too. You just need to make the appointment the night before. I've had mostly good experiences with the doctors here too. The facilities are nice and new.“

“My experience at the Kaiser Permanente Hearing center was positive. The front desk customer service was fast, friendly, and informative. The lobby area is comfortable with lots of spacial seating. The lobby also had an air purifier. I have been to this center 3 times and each doctor/nurse was patient and helpful. The parking is free and there is plenty of space for your vehicle. If you need lunch there are also plenty of cafe's and taquerias.“
