I have been a patient at west dermatology in San Luis Obispo for about 30 years. I finally decided that it's time to get a check up so I called to make an appointment and was told that seven years have passed and now I am considered a new patient and the next available appointment is in July. It's February. They recommended calling around and maybe checking out West dermatology in Arroyo grande. Glad I did. The receptionist was super nice and she had an opening for May, which I booked, and then a few days later I got a call saying that an appointment was available in a couple of days which was great! I saw Gabriel the nurse practitioner who was extremely nice, professional and courteous. He was thorough in the exam and alleviated worries that I had about a few spots on my skin that I wasn't sure about. The girls at the front desk were extremely nice, welcoming, and friendly as well. I am actually really shocked that they only have three star rating and even told them so! I already pre-booked my next year's appointment. Great job everyone!!
West Dermatology in Arroyo Grande is local with easy access and close parking. We’ve found Gabe Porter and the rest of the staff to be professional yet kind & caring. His exam and treatment is efficient yet unhurried and he explains what he is seeing and the treatment. My wife and I have been going to the AG office for several years and have always been seen promptly at the appointed time.
