I've been coming to get my lashes done by Queenie for about two years. I'm still obsessed with my lashes and with Queenie after all of this time. She is the sweetest most gentle lady and ALWAYS does the best job. I feel comfortable with each visit and I always leave happy with her work. Best lash tech. I highly recommend to anyone who wants a natural but good quality lash set. And I can't forget to mention her amazing prices. Very affordable. Thank you Queenie.
I've wanted to check out Queenie Beauty for a while now, so I purchased a Groupon (priced at $49) for a lash lift session. I visited on Sat, May 4th at 3:30 PM. I texted Queenie at her number (626-922-5562) a week before my appt, and she responded quickly and kindly! I loved how it was easy to communicate with her, and I didn't have to call lol. She even texted me a picture of her shop, where to park, and a reminder before my appt. Experience: -I enjoyed my lash lift session with Queenie. She asked what type of curl I wanted (I didn't know I could choose! ), so I opted for the curlier D (as opposed to a less curly C, which I might try next time). - I've wanted to try a lash tint (essentially dyeing your lashes a little darker), but I don't think I see too much difference. If anything, my left eyelashes are a teensy bit darker than my right (Idk? my left eye does have fuller lashes LOL). However, the curls do last! I'm writing this review in late May and my lashes are still curled! Though, keep in mind that my lashes grow kind of slow. - It was an overall good experience, but the appt did take a little longer than expected -mainly because I also added on an extra lash tint (for an additional +$15). I left the store around 4:45 PM, so I was getting a little restless since the bed where I lay was getting hot, and I didn't feel much of an AC. Parking: I've been to this area a few times and never had any issues (I actually came here when it used to be a nail salon years back!). You can park in the lot right by the store, or I like to park across the store on Alta Street! My husband dropped me off this past visit, but he didn't have a problem finding parking either when he waited. Note: The shop partners with WaxSugarStudio-Q (two women-owned shops!), so the door is always locked. Please call or text them when you arrive so they can open the door. I knocked and had to text her to give her a heads-up that I was outside! All in all, a pretty decent experience. Thank you, Queenie!
Queenie is super nice! She provided info on the different kinds of extensions (material, width/length, and curl) and made a great recommendation on what would work best on my baby lashes. Plus, her price was reasonable too and her place was clean and comfortable. Definitely going back!
