This review is long overdue. I'm extremely picky on where I cut my hair and so is my mom. Since she was visiting from Hawaii and when the whole covid situation started we wanted somewhere smaller and closer to home. We ended up here and since then have been very satisfied. Tong has cut my mom's hair several times and I will continue to bring her back. After I explained what I wanted for her, he did it well! :) I also like the fact that he is from Hong Kong. :) (My former home) The salon is situated in a strip mall near Baldwin and Duarte with lots of parking. The mall is busy but you will always find a stall. Lots of yummy restaurants to go eat after too.

My son has stubborn cowlicks and no one can ever cut his hair correctly. Tried this place for the first time, going by the reviews and pics from other people. Mr Jimmy Tong is good! He takes his time cutting and making sure the cut is even. Son's hair looks great. For a cut with shampoo and blow dry, it came out to be $30 plus tip. Average and reasonable for this area.
