I needed a landscaper to build a retaining wall, planter box, install the irrigation, and plant the softscapes in my yard and was referred to Ries Landscaping through my concrete guy. John was able to come out quickly for a free estimate. I had received multiple quotes from other landscapers for my project and felt that their prices were either way out of line, they were not thorough in their estimates, and/or they were flakey. I choose to give my business to John because he is a straight shooter and set my expectations on the timing, pricing, and availability of the products needed which I really appreciated. I had John and his son come out and do a backyard clean up, trim all the bushes (I have a ton), cut off lower branches on small oak tree, power wash front and back patio and driveway, and rebark the entire backyard. They did a good job and I hired them for weekly maintenance on my front yard.
