I am an RN of over twenty years, first fifteen years in adult ICU setting. I absolutely loved the specialty with all of the heart-wrenching situations to miracles I've witnessed. It devastated me when I realized I had to leave this nursing environment due to repeat shoulder injuries where worker's comp did not result in anywhere near healing, to say the least. Visits to chiropractor's office, acupuncture, acupressure, etc... worked only temporarily. After twelve sessions at Tomii's, all I can say is, had I received sessions at Tomii's during my ICU days, I would not have left the unit. The shoulder problem that's been ongoing for over a decade has been, finally, addressed!!!! It is important to communicate where you would like the massage to focus on. They will target the areas in need, in addition to the findings using their software program. I highly recommend trying different therapists until you find the one who is right for you.
