The owner never returns calls. He does't stand behind his work. We had cabinets that fall apart only after 3 months! He won't fix problems at all and has turned off his phone.
They began working on my roof and despite scraping the entire roof leaving my home exposed they did not tarp or secure my home before leaving. despite my concern about rain. sure enough it rained and everything inside my home was destroyed. not only did it turn out they had no insurance, Jet surety their bond company refused to release their $25000 bond. due to "disputed facts" Ray Salamipour actually told his first lawyer he offered to tarp but I refused due to cost. He was provided a payment of close to $10,000 which he has not returned even though they were on the job two days scraping roof. He hired a second lawyer who demanded I accepted $4200 of the down payment within 14 days as their final settlement offer. literally everything in my home was drenched after 8 hours of indoor rain. electronics, beds, carpets, clothing etc. The habitat design even had the audacity afterwards to text me and say "my house would be finished if I had not fired them afterwards" the damage from this was worse than the initial tree that fell and my roof is still covered in a tarp because they did not close out the roof permit as requested. terrible experience. terrible con artists.
Had to take off a star because when I asked Ray why they didn't install pull out shelves, they cited some code that they shouldn't be installing them over 4ft (even when I wasn't asking them to install them over 4 ft). But when I was getting an electrician to hook up my stove for me because they quoted me an exorbitant amount when they didn't account for that I had an electric stove even though I've had it sitting there ready, I found out through my electrician they did not upgrade any of my electrical for the kitchen to code. They had my kitchen all under one circuit, none of the GFCIs that I made sure they installed by the kitchen sink were grounded though they had GFCI sockets there. Now I have to pay an electrician to make sure it is all done right.
