I searched for nearly two years all over the internet for an artist to tackle my Iron Maiden tattoo. I stumbled across an artist named Dave James at Dark Heritage. From what I saw on his Instagram page, his work was amazing. Well I visited from Sacramento and set an appointment. Three months later, after three separate sessions we have finished this masterpiece. The vibe in the shop is super low key and professional. The other artist's were great to talk with. I have multiple tattoo's done by incredible artists. I saw Dave's work online and knew I needed a tattoo from him as well. I gave him an idea of what I was looking for and his artistic mind did the rest. The tattoo done by him turned out incredible, even better than expected, and expectation was high. The tattoo gets complimented all the time. He's best known for horror style tattoos, but extremely well versed in all sorts of tattoo concepts. I can't say enough about David Wuertemburg and the team at Dark Heritage Tattoo in Anaheim, CA. Dave's passion and creativity are second to none. His attention to detail is unbelievable. Each one of his color pieces looks like a painting more than a tattoo. I went for a black and gray with slight color on my full back Poseidon and pirate ship piece. I can't wait for the next one! Professional, great customer service, friendly and the whole team is amazing. I highly recommend Dave to anyone looking to get a beautiful piece!
