He gave shape to my head and neck which is visible. He is very experienced, talented and has a vision for your most attractive style. The salon personnel are welcoming and accommodating. Eddie is a gem. AG salon is a gem. I will be coming back without a doubt“

“I came in last week for a mani pedi and decided to try this place since the one across the way had been really terrible the last few visits. I walked in and was immediately greeted by the owner Stephany (sorry if I spelled it incorrectly). Her warmth was refreshing and after telling her what I was hoping for, I was set to work with Cassandra (again sorry if I'm spelling y'all's names wrong!). Honestly, I was a bit worried because it sounded like she was just about to take lunch as I walked in so I was worried she was going to be upset/make the nails go by quick so that way she could get back to lunch. That couldn't be further from the truth! Cassandra was honestly the best nail tech I've ever had in my life and I've been getting my nails done for 15+ years! She was extremely kind, very diligent, and made sure it was a whole experience getting my nails done! The biggest thing I appreciated was the fact that she explained what she was doing as she was doing it and why she was doing it! I've never had that happen before and she was willing to work with my nails for their shape, size, and made my nails look amazing! (And this was only a gel manicure!!) I mentioned to her how I noticed that my nails were weaker and I wanted to ensure that they'd grow back stronger and she made sure to use a lower heat setting for my nails, use stronger top coats, and a better base coat for my nails. Not only that but she gave me extra cuticle oil to apply at home! Besides the nail care aspect, she took the time to get to know me as a person and she made me feel like we had been friends for years. I can't imagine going to anyone else now! Fair warning: she does take her time so if you have somewhere to be, just let her know! Otherwise sit back and enjoy the experience! Pricing was also great considering everyone wants to charge and arm and a leg these days! TL:DR: don't read the previous reviews that are years old, there's a new owner who's made the salon so much better! Get your nails done by Cassandra! (The other nail tech was really nice and her work was great too!) 1000000/10 recommend this place!“

“I recently had the pleasure of having Sonia do my eyebrows, and I couldn't be more impressed! From the moment I walked in, she, along with the two other girls working there, made me feel so welcome and comfortable. They truly exemplify teamwork, which made the whole experience enjoyable. Sonia's attention to detail is unmatched. I've struggled to find someone who could shape my eyebrows the way I love, but Sonia nailed it on the first try! She also gave me helpful advice on how to grow them out to achieve an even better shape in the future, which I really appreciated. “I can’t begin to explain how great Daren is! This review is very long overdue, but I’ve been coming to Daren for almost 3 years now. I remember when I first came to Daren, I got a lash lift and tint which I was extremely satisfied with considering I have short lashes. The process was fast and she was super gentle with my eyes/lashes. Daren made me feel comfortable and even put soothing music to help me relax (she always does and asks if you prefer to listen to a specific music playlist). I remember while she was doing the lash lift, she complemented my eyebrows and their shape and suggested I would be a great fit for ombré brows (one of the permanent makeup services she offers). I was extremely hesitant because to be quite honest, the idea of getting permanent makeup scared me at that time. But she gave me more information about it and answered any questions I had. I ended up going home to think about it and ended up booking an appointment a couple of days later for her ombré brows service. I was also super particular with my eyebrow shape since this was one of the first few times I was trusting someone with my brows (I never let anyone pluck or thread them, I always did it myself). Daren encouraged me to come in with my brows drawn in how I like them. She then shaped them to be more symmetrical and natural looking based on how I had my brows shaped. She even showed me how they looked and asked if there was anything I would like to change. Before she started the procedure, she showed me the needles she would be using and showed them being in an unopened sterile package. During the procedure, she first outlines the brows before applying the numbing cream. I felt absolutely no pain during the outlining. I felt more pain/stinging when she applied the numbing ointment which is normal due to having already outlined them and the skin being open. From there, she let the numbing cream take effect and started the filling process. Be prepared to be there for about 2-3 hours if this is your first time or if you’re getting a color correction. During the procedure she kept asking me how I was doing and if the numbing cream was wearing off (so she could apply more) and really made me feel comfortable throughout the procedure. Fair warning, at the end of the procedure you're eyebrows will look bold and dark, but it's absolutely normal and part of the process. They will also feel a little tender after the numbing cream wears off and will be a little red. Keep in mind that with the ombré brows, a follow up retouch is may or may not be needed depending on how your eyebrows healed/skin absorbed the pigment. My mom for example, had great pigment retention and did not need a touch up(she also got her brows done through Daren). In my case, I needed the touch up due to my skin not retaining as much pigment. However, after the healing process my eyebrows have never looked better and I've received so many compliments. I did get a 9 wk - 12 month touch up to darken them up a bit after my first procedure and my brows continued to look great! I recently had my third touch up this past December 2022 with a mini touch up in January 2023 and my brows continue to look great! In addition to lash lift and permanent makeup, I have also had her lash extension service done through her. So far I have tried her signature and classic sets, and soon a wispy volume set for my wedding this coming September. I am always impressed with how all my sets come out and have kept coming back to her. Her sets last for a good while especially if they are well taken care of. Overall, I have been extremely happy with Daren's services and continue to see myself coming back to her. She is super sweet and always takes her time and makes sure you are happy with the outcome of your service! Booking an appointment is also super quick and efficient, and if you ever have any trouble trying to book she will help(: It may seem cliché, but you honestly get what you pay for and I can assure you that Daren’s services are worth every penny!“

“I've never had a designated salon that I've really liked and consistently gotten my hair done at. I looked up local shops and found Rita's salon had very good reviews. I called before hand for a wait time for a walk in .She told me to just head over and she would attend me. The moment I arrived, she attended me. ( However, she did mention she preferred appointments as sometimes it can get busy! ) She was very kind to say the least. What stood out to me was the fact that she was very considerate of the fact that I have curly hair and did her work accordingly. Other salons I've been to will treat my hair the same as others and with no hesitation start pulling out the straightener. However, Rita instead tried styling my hair with a cream that really enhanced my curls. I will definitely be coming back !“
