We rarely write reviews for companies, but in this case, we feel compelled to do so. Working with Allguard Termite and Pest is a breath of fresh air. Allguard is a family business with a personal approach not seen very often today. A few months ago, Allguard tented our beach house in Oxnard. We were so delighted with their service that we recently requested that they treat our termite problem in our LA home. James, the owner, is very friendly, honest and patient when explaining his recommendations. Unlike other termite companies, he does not recommend work that is not necessary. His prices are fair and undercuts all other companies. Nicole and Cassandra, James' office, staff, are also very friendly and easy to work with. It is a pleasure to work with him. Allguard is a delight to work with, and should be your very first called whenever pest issues arise. Rick B.

We had initial problems with have wood repair--it started and then abruptly stopped. Two weeks later, it was repaired well. Same with tenting, the day of, after we packed and dogs left at kennel, it was determined the forecasted wind would interfere with tenting stability. We were upset and stated the company should have watched the forecast and forewarned us the day(s) prior. The reason, I'm giving 4 stars is because James Elson, the owner called us, patiently listened to our distress and recommendations. He is a concerned and involved owner, who stayed on top of our rescheduled event, making it happen a few days later so we didn't have to go through the packing process again. Although not fun, everything went smoothly the second time around.

My daughter called me screaming one day saying she saw a mouse in her kitchen! I called Allguard and James out the very next day! He was very thorough and went the extra mile to get the job done. He checked out the entire house and showed us where the critters could get in and even sent us pictures so we could share them with our maintenance man. He is very knowledgeable and informed us we had rats, not mice! Eeeek!! We caught 3 within 2 days and now everything seems to be back to normal. If you have critters you need to get rid of, call these guys, they're the best!
