“This place is exceptional. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. And the service is the best - personal attention, high quality materials, and attention to detail. I found this place 6 months ago when the nail shop I'd been going to for 30+ years changed owners. I went to a couple other shops before I found this one. My first visit there, I felt like a valued customer. Mai scheduled an appointment. I showed up and got a fill and pedicure. She did a phenomenal job and for the first time ever, I did not have the fill residue under my nails in the crevices. Up to then, I always had some residue that took a few days to get rid of. So, kudos to Mai!! AND the fills last and do not lift. I get my nails done once a month and between fills I do yard work, dishes, cleaning, painting, you name it and my nails DO NOT LIFT!! Honest! And she is not overpriced. Given the quality of her products and skill, comparatively, she is actually lower. Try her, you'll love her!“

“OMGosh! I went here for the first time and from now on it’ll be the only place I’ll go. It was difficult to find thanks to WAZE, but if you can believe it Ana called me back to ask if I was lost and guided me in. I accidentally smudged the pinkie nail and she immediately repaired it without scolding me! The salon was clean and had a lovely aroma and calming music. I got a neck and hand massage all for only $20.00 plus tax. They allowed me to add the tip onto my credit card. Everyone in the salon was friendly including other clients. It made my day! I was tired of the expensive bad manicures in Sierra Madre!

Requested style: I didn’t even have to ask. She saw my style

Cleanliness: A lot of salons have an unpleasant chemical aroma this salon did not.“

Of the many new services I needed to find was a hair salon that was clean, welcoming and had great services and stylists. I was quite picky having gone to the same person for 30 years who knew just how to take care of my fine curly hair and was comfortable using a diffuser. After reading tons of reviews on line, I decided to try Salon Sonik and make an appointment with Erica who had all 5 star reviews. All I can say is I struck gold! This salon checked every box. Everyone there is super friendly, the salon is immaculate and Erica is awesome. I had a free consult with her the week before my appointment so she could familiarize herself with my hair and my needs. She nailed it. I left the salon yesterday thrilled with my cut and color. As they use a different line of products than my former salon, the color is slightly different and I love it. Even my husband who never notices my hair color commented how nice it was! I have to also say that Veronica who washed my hair gave me one of the best shampoos I've had in a long time. She doesn't just wash your hair, she also gives your scalp a good washing and massages it at the same time. She massaged my scalp again with the conditioner. It was so relaxing I almost started to fall asleep! I really don't have enough words to say how thrilled I was with Salon Sonik and everyone there.
