Autumn is really great at what she does. I went in with a severe kink in my neck and she really focused on helping that feel better for me. I booked a 90 min massage and loved every second besides the pain I was in from my neck lol but it felt great after. Her price point is amazing as well. Her office is very cozy and welcoming. I'll definitely be coming back.

CrossFit gets so much criticism, but I wish more people would try and give it a chance. I took my first CrossFit class at CrossFit Indestructible 6 months ago after having two babies & I am so glad I did. I will never go back to a regular gym. I have gained a new, healthier view of working out and nutrition. I love the saying, “CrossFit is not for everyone, but it is for anyone.” Before my first class, I thought CrossFit was just for the super fit and elite athletes, but I have learned that’s not true. There are so many levels of athletes at a CrossFit gym, but they are all welcome and encouraged. The coaches here at CrossFit indestructible meet you wherever you are on your fitness journey. The coaches here genuinely care about you, your goals & how you are doing and feeling. I know a few people, including my husband & I, who drive up to Alpine to go to this gym because of the environment, the coaches/ and other athletes rather than go to a gym closer to their homes. My Husband, who dislikes the regular gym environment and is very new to it, now enjoys going to the gym & I Love that we get to do it together. I am thankful that the coaches here are patient and kind to everyone, especially when you are new. Being new can be so intimidating. They are more than willing to go over things with you until you feel comfortable with what you are doing. Everyone at this gym is welcoming and encouraging, having a good time, and always looking out for each other.

I came in and saw Melissa yesterday to get my brows done. She was so sweet and professional! She took her time with the outline to get it to the exact shape I was looking for and to make sure they were the width I wanted also. The process was almost painless, as she has many topical anesthetics to use to make me as comfortable as possible. I am so happy with the way my eyebrows look! I honestly can’t wait to check out all the activities VFW Alpine hosts. They seem to really care about not only veterans but the Alpine/Descanso community. Lots of local events open to the public and I’ve heard that their kitchen serves LEGIT food ? ?.

My first introduction to JS Collectiv was when I booked an appointment for lash extensions with Jen. Her lashes are well applied and look incredibly natural. Plus, if you are going to lay down for hours it's a HUGE bonus to do so with a lash technician that is fun to talk to and easy to spend time with. Their pricing is extremely competitive and their quality can't be beat. Jen also does hair, and is a color magician! I love seeing her happy clients with beautiful hair leaving the salon.
My next interaction with JS Collectiv was when I booked a PMU appointment with Shannara for eyebrows. I walked in thinking I wanted "combo" brows and after talking my goals over with Shannara she convinced me to go with powder brows instead. I'M OBSESSED. I love my brows so much I booked an appointment for my mother, and also talked my two best friends into getting theirs done. The process is virtually painless, and the result looks very natural. With my brows done, I use a lot less makeup and I've started the process of doing facials with Shannara and using DMK products to clarify my skin so that I feel and look great leaving the house with nothing more than sunscreen and chapstick on my face.
It's hard to find experts these days. Oscar and his team do the best work at a reasonable price. I recommend this place to all my family and friends
Good full service laundry and dry cleaner in a neat small shopping center. A little expensive. Ask for expedited service as necessary. They also do fluff and fold. Good quality work. Check out the nearby health food store too.
Dr. B and his whole staff are amazing people! They are kind and thoughtful. They listen and really think of all the best options with the patient in mind. I drive from San Diego to Alpine just to see them!-

Outstanding service, response time and most importantly honesty. Doc came and picked up my laptop and within an hour or two gave me the verdict. He was very upfront that if what he thought was the issue and if what he thought it was did not fix the issue what the next issue would be and unfortunately, the second option was going to be costly. I really appreciate him giving me the worst case scenario so there were no surprises. Fortunately he was able to fix my laptop without the expensive option and we are thrilled. If you need anything in regards to your computer, don't go down the hill use Doc.

Having just discovered this wonderful dental practice in Alpine I am compelled to share my experience. I am so grateful for the skill and experience of Dr. Orozco. His staff is kind, helpful and talented. I feel so blessed to be in their care!It was easy to get an appointment and all costs are very fair/reasonable and covered by my insurance.In my initial appointment the Doctor took special care in examination and identification of all that I will need. He recommended a plan to address my unique situation in a methodical logical way. As I hadn't seen a dentist for many years this took the form of triage that also considered what I could afford. I was able to get right in for appointments too!My first step was a cleaning performed by his skilled hygienist who uses state of the art techniques.Just this week I had 4 extractions with bone grafting in preparation for upcoming implants. It was a delicate and complicated procedure as the extractions took place close to my sinuses. Albeit extensive, the surgery was painless and I am recovering nicely. Doctor also conducts comprehensive follow up with X-rays, office visits, and medications which give me great peace of mind.This is a one stop shop. They take care of all dental procedures in one place! Dr. Orozco is a gifted and experienced dentist and oral surgeon. He and his capable team that include Karen at the front desk and Judy his wife who assists with all procedures provide the best dental care I've ever had. All billing of my insurance and pre-authorizations are handled expeditiously in house. To find such levels of professionalism in the small town of Alpine CA is truly remarkable. No need to travel into the city which is a huge plus for those of us that live in eastern San Diego county. Alpine Oak Dental has my highest recommendation!?????

Jose and his crew repaired/replaced our existing lawn sprinkler system. They arrived on time and immediately began the work he had quoted me in the proposal. They performed the work as discussed, providing us with an updated and more efficient lawn watering system. They left my yard and patio clean and in order. Jose even corrected an existing wiring system that I brought to his attention, at no additional cost. Jose and his crew were professional and courteous, with what I consider fair and competitive pricing. I highly recommend Rain Professional Landscape service! Project well done!

The #1 and only place I trust my dog at. I found myself needing to board my Australian shepherd after only adopting him about 10 months before hand. Understandably, he was unsure of many things and slightly anxious. I was gone for 8 months and when I came back, not only had he been so well cared for and very happy, he was a completely different dog! He was very confident, playful, and no longer anxious. I got photos regularly of the activities they participate in everyday which is awesome because he is a working dog and loves to run/walk endlessly. I was never uneasy about his care and when he did have a bad hot spot, it was communicated, he was taken to the vet, and cared for until it healed properly. The property is spacious and well gated (3 closed gates before you get to the actual area where they are) with lots of room for dogs to do whatever it is they do and they get multiple hikes a day. I also love that it is what I like to call a "free range" daycare, dogs are only on leads when they seem absolutely necessary. It is about 30 minutes from San Diego and worth it if you want to leave your dogs with people who can be trusted and know they will be out and about living good while you're gone :). PS. They also have an Instagram!
