Hoag Internal Medicine Aliso Viejo

I had the first appointment of the day with my PCP. I was told to arrive 15 minutes prior to the appointment, which wasn't hard to do since I live nearby. However, my PCP was 20 minutes late. Traffic, I guess. I actually heard her come in so she wasn't just sitting in the office somewhere. I like this office for convenience but if I'm expected to be early, I at least expect the doctor to be on time, especially if they are only spending 10 minutes with me. Dr. Sara Kim is the best primary care physician I have ever had, and I am not exaggerating. I met her yesterday at my new patient appointment. She did a thorough exam (including touching my joints and informing me of my joint health which is impressive because I have never had a doctor go to that extra step) and ordered preventative tests as well as referred me to an OBGYN that is in a location near me without me even asking for a doctor nearby. It is obvious how thoughtful and knowledgeable she is. Not to mention her going the extra step to build a rapport with me. I felt so taken care of, and I am so grateful to be in her care.

I came here for a DEXA test and a mammogram today. I didn't see the doctor. The receptionists aren't exactly warm or effusive. I should have driven to the Newport Beach Hoag instead but this location is closer to home.
