Many clients appreciate their reliability and the satisfactory results they provide for various engineering needs. However, the company is often very busy due to a high volume of projects, which can lead to longer wait times for responses and direct communication. Clients have noted that while the service can be hectic, the firm is skilled at navigating the complexities of engineering and getting plans approved by city officials. Some reviews suggest that expectations should be adjusted, especially in the wake of the pandemic, as the construction industry faces numerous challenges. Any company you work with requires your guidance and your knowledge to perform what you expect. Working at this level is for the professionals. I have worked with many of engineering firms and Perfect Design is as good as it comes. If you provided the information correctly you will get the information you are looking for correctly. And I have never ran into any company that I did not have to Red-Ink one time or another. And if you don't the the term "RED-INK," it's time for you to get into another line of work.
My honest assessment of this company is 3.5 stars but I think the total 2.2 star review is unfair so I am going to write a review to help them out, perhaps a "for the record". They're always working. The major problem of this company is that they have too many projects, it is a wholesale operation. If you do not know what is going on, do not rely on them to help you 100%. Go look at every gas station/ fast food / Police station / many Doctors' review pages, they are going to be majorly negatively skewed because just too many people use their services and most customers don't write reviews. They have helped meet my engineering needs for all our developments to a satisfactory manner. I have used other companies and they have been worse or the same - the construction industry itself has a lot of problems! Services are too complicated to be reduced to a review- there are highs and there are lows. Everyone needs to adjust their expectations, especially after the pandemic. If you're able to organize and understand what it really takes to finish plans, Perfect Design is always reliable.
I do not understand all the negative reviews of Perfect Design on here. It's well known that in life, you can only pick 2 of these 3: time, quality, and price. You can have your project done quickly and cheaply, but the quality will be low. Or you can have it done high-quality and cheaply, but it will take a long time. Or you can have it done quickly and high-quality, but you will have to pay a lot. Perfect Design is like a unicorn because they offer all three: your project will be done pretty quickly, for a pretty good quality, and a reasonable price.The downside to this is that they are crazy busy ALL THE TIME. So you do have to wait. They will put you on hold if you call them, they take a while to respond to your email, and you will have to wait in their waiting area if you come in wanting to talk to them about your project. And if you're expecting niceties like them taking the time to make small talk with you or offering you cucumber-infused water, this is not the place for you. Because they are so busy, they are very direct and to-the-point. Which is fine with me! I think they're worth it. Especially because they know how to get your plans passed by the city, which is really the most important thing. So they're 5 stars to me.
