“I recently had a workshop upgrade at my home in Altadena and needed the walls insulated, drywall installed, electrical, lights etc., and I am so thankful that I found JM Handyman Services! Of course I had a laundry list of things to do and was quoted a reasonable price and time frame of only 2 weeks so I agreed to go ahead with the work.Jack and Mike showed up promptly everyday rain or shine making huge accomplishments before I could even turn my coffee maker on. Everything about this job went smoothly as expected with incredible attention to detail. Also, both Jack and his father Mike have great personalities and are really easy going nice guys. In the beginning, everything was nicely prepped and all of the floor covered. Electrical work got knocked out pretty much the first day followed by the insulation. His drywall installers worked through the whole day and got their work done nicely. Raphael, the painter, came out the following day, from early in the morning until almost 8:30 pm at night when it was freezing outside and completed his work very nicely.I am in complete amazement of how fast and clean the job was completed. Another thing to note.. “It's difficult to find great repair people who know what they are doing and provide excellent value. I was a little hesitant to hire "Harry the Handyman" just because of the name. But I guess you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. I had a wall heater that had been not working properly for many years. Gas company even came to check out and thought it must have had the problem when it was installed eons ago. I gave Harry a call on a Friday and we scheduled an appointment for Monday. To be honest it didn't start off great because the time kept getting pushed back but it had started raining and he was on the other side of town- these things happen. So it's understandable that there might be delays. When Harry showed up he got right to the job- he knew what he was looking for and fixed the problem that had been plaguing this wall heater for years. It took less than 15 minutes. Others were quoting a price of $2000 to install a new one. This wall heater is in a rental apt. When the long time tenant, who had stopped using the wall heater because of the problem, heard the wall heater startup without sounding like it was going to blow out the windows, he said, 'I've never heard that before.' It was a soft sounding ignite. Harry had fixed the problem, making the tenant and owner happy at a very good price. This is one of those business cards you keep!“

“It was around 10:30pm and I called a few 24hr. service electricians and they both said they'll only service unless its an emergency. Well, that defeats the purpose of being a 24hr service. So I find KTB and spoke with Tony. Right away I already had good vibes when explaining my situation. He was at the house within 20 mins, got all his equipment out his truck and got the job done. When i was trying to change the light bulb the brackets loosened and just dangled. It's above the bed so I didn't want to take the chance. Tony is a great guy, easy to talk to, humble and definitely knows his stuff. I will no doubt not only call Tony if I have an electrical problem but for other fixes too. For being late at night, he gave me a very reasonable price. Thanks Tony!“
