Because our photographer was such a joy to work with, we had a feeling Stephanie would be amazing as well. Her Instagram account showed pictures of beautiful brides with soft glam makeup. As soon as I visited her website, I knew that she was not only a talented makeup artist but also an organized, transparent business owner. She made her pricing readily available (I didn't have to contact her separately about it), and I was able to instantly figure out if she was available on our wedding day. The booking process alone made it easy for me to decide to work with Brides Nest.

I was able to schedule my trial on the day of my engagement photo shoot. Stephanie listened to my thoughts on the soft glam look I would like for myself, asked me how my makeup looks on a daily basis, and took into consideration the type of makeup I do not prefer. She was down-to-earth and fun to chat with! It was clear that she enjoys what she does, which goes a long way when you book any vendor. Thanks to Stephanie, my makeup looked amazing in all the photos, and it lasted several hours without requiring a touch-up. This definitely helped because we did our shoot at Griffith Observatory around sunset and dusk, so I had no time to look at myself. My hair stayed put throughout the entire session as well. I appreciated that she recommended using extensions.

We still have a few months to go for our wedding, and working with Stephanie is making the process much less chaotic for us. She is quick to respond to all of our questions. She was more than happy to schedule another trial session for me because I'm still not sure if I want to put my hair up or down on the big day. She'll also be doing a trial for my husband.

“I will never go to anyone else for color services again. Tommy is the best! The photos are before and after. In the before you can see I have orange and black at the roots and faded color. He was able to completely transform my hair perfectly to an ash brown. It only took a few words and a photo for him to understand what I wanted. He even knew without me asking to blend at the roots so that when my black hair grew it wouldn’t look so jarring. This means I don’t have to go back as frequently. This is how I knew tommy puts his customers first. Hes also very communicative and easy to work with. I could tell that he was confident in his ability to correct my hair, since he moved with such ease and explained every single step to me, including the whys. He carefully inspected the color along the way, and he considered whether or not adjustments needed to be made. Im just so pleased with his level of service and the results.
