This place charges $5.00 to have a single men's dress shirt laundered. That price is outrageous. Le's Tailoring, which is 2 blocks away and also on Webster, charges $3.50. At the latter, there is no minimum. You can walk in with a single shirt. If you shop around in Alameda, you can get it down to $2. The help here is not the friendliest. Bringing them clothing seems to be a bother. Also, they do not offer 24 hour service on some days. I believe they have pickups to their central wholesale cleaning service two days per week. So if you time it right, you could get your clothes back in a day, but most often that will not occur. Parking is tough! Its on a busy retail street with meters.
I've been using them for years now they are my go to for all dry cleaning. PROS -excellent and consistent service -good job cleaning my bulky items, duvets -outstanding customer service. The lady at the counter is always so friendly and welcoming whenever I drop off items. :) -parking is good -good location -quick service -I TRUST them with my items!! I can't say that for most places. CONS
Loses one star from my original 4 star rating. Everything is the same except that I got whacked in the face with a much larger bill than expected recently. Turns out my laundered shirts went up a dollar each. No signage, no notification, no warning. After looking at my receipt in my car, I went back in to ask if they raised their price and they said yes. They were really under-market $ priced for a long while and the new price is probably closer to what everyone else is charging. But still, I would have appreciated a sign indicating they had to raise prices to be competitive or whatever. I used to drive across town to come here, but no longer worth it for me.
