I had my first acupuncture session with Rebecca and it went great. Rebecca is very knowledgeable, kind, and welcoming. She made me feel very comfortable and did a great job learning about my medical history. I'm looking forward to our next session. The office is very clean and has air condition, which is rare in Alameda. Plenty of metered street parking but if you search down some of the small cross streets you can find free two hour parking.

I began receiving treatment from Dr. Christine a little over a month ago and her care has significantly and positively impacted my life during that short time. By helping me to incorporate better nutrition/supplements & self-care practices and beginning acupuncture with her business partner Rebecca, my physical ailments and mental health struggles have greatly diminished. I don't ever remember feeling this healthy and balanced in my entire life. The changes are so noticeable that colleagues are starting to ask me for her contact info. Also, Heidi in their office is super helpful with supporting clients.

The pain in my frozen shoulder was constant and immobilizing. Western medicine made the shoulder worse. The chiropractic folks couldn't touch me without causing pain. I was skeptical of acupuncture as previous experience was curiously mysterious and treatments not well explained and it never seemed to have a healing impact. Dao Integrated made me a believer of eastern medical practices with the understanding that success in managing injuries depends on which practitioner helps you, and your own proactive restorative work. Christine's approach is holistic and practical, meaning she uses the techniques in her bag of treatment options that affect positive change for the specific needs of the individual patient. I have less pain now and we continue to work on dietary changes that contribute to healing. Christine is a professional who knows how to treat injuries and she has great bedside manner. I highly recommend her.
