    Who do other therapists go to when our shoulders and hips are hurting? John, 100%. John is very talented and caring. I really appreciate his knowledge of anatomy and honesty that I would need less massage if I exercised more!

    John is one of those rare practitioners that is not only highly skilled but communicates what he is finding and giving lots of educational context about the body to help you understand and integrate the changes. The work he does is more in the category of Neuromuscular/Neuro-integrative manual work. It is all very gentle and very effective. I went in with some low back and hip discomfort and feel a shift in the fascia immediately and continuing through the days after.     John excels in his chosen field of therapeutic massage. I'm so glad I found him using Maps, and can only echo the 5 star reviews. I had assumed my chronic back, muscle and joint pains were a part of getting older, and that things would only get worse (active past and present, surgery, multiple injuries). John, however, did not agree with my dreary self-assessment, and got right to work finding and alleviating my trouble areas.
