“I recently had a dermaplane hydo facial at Alpine Skin Clinic in Whistler and was thoroughly impressed. Although the price was higher than I initially expected at $250, the overall experience was really lovely and my skin looks and feels great. I also appreciated that Jen, the owner, was incredibly responsive, accommodating my same-day appointment request, and she went above and beyond in her service. She thoughtfully provided a few refreshments, which was a really considerate gesture and greatly appreciated. The salon itself is small, stylish and minimalist, clean and comfortable. Jen played soothing background music and used delightful-smelling lotions. She also included a complimentary back, shoulder, and neck massage in the last fifteen minutes of the session, which was a wonderful and unexpected treat. She is actually a licensed masseuse hence why her massage was soooooo good (I wanted more! haha). I also LOVED the face massage during the facial and I noticed some fluid retention / puffiness in my cheeks had reduced afterwards. While the price did come as a bit of a surprise, Jen kindly assured me there was no need to tip, which was a relief. The exceptional service and personal touches made the experience truly wonderful and my skin looked radiant within hours afterwards. Initially there was a slight pink hue, but that's just because the new baby skin had been revealed, and despite any very mild redness, I was still glowing and got hit on in the grocery store straight afterwards! bahaha!
