“I visited Opticana last year, but it was quite off when I talked to the male owner (I think?) so I decided not to go here. Unsatisfied with my optical shop last year, roamed around to the neighboring optical shops downtown and had no luck in finding the cheap eye exam/sight check and white frame that I was looking for. The last resort is to ask Opticana again since I feel that their frames are quite affordable, I met Polly and Ryan. Both of them are friendly and they gave a pretty good deal if I want to use my old frame. Did the sight check for my prescription. Polly showed me a good white frame that I’ve never seen in any optical shop downtown (I’ve seen almost all! They don’t have it) but that one was above my budget, so they showed me different glasses. The pink one won! They said it would be easy but since I want a blue light protection, it will take a few more days since they need to bring it to their lab. I called the next day because I didn’t check the astigmatism of the new prescription. Told the lady over the phone that I’ll go and check, and she put it on hold, yet I wasn’t able to go that time. Then Monday came, ready to collect my glasses, they said they hold them for me since they were waiting for me. That time I knew that they value the customer so much. They prioritize my specs and the next day, they truly rush it. Today, I receive it. Kudos to Polly and Ryan for being patient, and friendly and going the extra mile to give quality service. Maybe next time I’ll be the one to find the frame that I like and not what others like for me. ?“

The selection is extensive and was happily able to find multiple options for glasses as well as being able to provide the latest and greatest technology. Not only did I purchase several pair from David but I brought in several well loved pair that needed refurbishing. The time and care that he takes absolutely astounds me! My vintage glasses are like brand new! My new glasses are perfectly adjusted. This is hands down the best place for glasses in Vancouver. Customer service is over the top!“

“My husband lost his glasses and was panicked about waiting 1-3 weeks for replacement. I Google searched same day glasses and Lotus eyewear came up in the search. I called and the woman that answered was very helpful. I emailed her my husband's prescription and she phoned me back right away letting me know that the lenses are available. She said they had a good selection and my husband went to the store and he said the selection was incredible and the price was very reasonable. I think it was under $250 for frames and lenses.The glasses look great on my husband's he is happy. I am happy. Thank you so much for your wonderful service!“

“I had a great experience with getting contacts here! I needed to get a new prescription since mine was over two years old and the process was incredibly smooth. I had the exam then came back another day for a contact fitting and got sent home with about two weeks worth of contacts to try out. Then I came back for a final appointment and was good to go. Everyone I dealt with was professional and kind, from the doctor to the customer service staff. Thank you very much.“
