“An arborist (not from Garden City) recommended that I tear out my front lawn at the drip line of my huge oak tree and put down their fresh wood chip mulch--without mentioning that they didn't HAVE any wood chip mulch, fresh or otherwise, might not have any for the forseeable future, and would just as soon string me along with my now-bare-dirt front yard while I didn't pester them for it. After a couple of months of this, Garden City Tree and Landscape came to the rescue! Once I phoned them, not only did they have product in stock, they delivered 4 yards (half a dump truck) of composted woodchip mulch the following day. What a relief! (Only a handful of litter & rocks.)“
