Dee-Ann Mayburry - Raymond James Ltd.

I have been dealing with Dee-Ann Mayburry of Werner Mayburry Wealth Management with Raymond James in Victoria, BC for about 15 years. They have been managing my daughter's Registered Educational Savings Plan. I've been a fairly low maintenance client only contacting Dee-Ann when they needed periodic disclosure updates.This afternoon, I received a disengagement letter from Raymond James advising that I had essentially been ditched to the self-represented at the ISC (investment Services Team Centre). This was done without any prior consultation. No phone call or discussion. This was done just as my daughter's fund is maturing.This is in my opinion, reprehensible behaviour. After 15 years, I deserved at the benefit of a phone call to ensure that self-representation going forward would be appropriate for our needs. Now I find myself having to find a new investment advisor and transferring the RESP at maturity.
