Staff, nurses and volunteers were amazingly welcoming and friendly.
I was very nervous at first but was helped and well taken care of every step of the way. This location wasn't that busy when I went. I think important for people to donate when they can. Very convenient and easy to find building at Uptown.
All the snacks and refreshments were free and appreciated. Highly recommend for anyone interested. The phone service was quick and informative too for people like me who are new to donating blood. There's also wifi if want to play games on your phone while you wait for the blood machine to finish.
Staff were so kind and helpful for our first donation!!! Everyone from front desk to nurses/techs to volunteers were wonderful. Very easy to get set up in the system & the actual donation part is only about 15 minutes. You are encouraged to snack & drink lots of water before and after - no complaints there ? I was a bit light headed near the end and they rushed to make sure I was tilted back & cooled off before I could even think about it. Great experience and looking forward to the next donation.
