Really wonderful martial arts program was arranged for our students' P.E. classes. The instructor was excellent both teaching the skills and with classroom management! I was personally very impressed with Purple Dragon, and I know many of the kids were happy and excited to go each week.

We have been part of purple dragon for several years. if you want a place that will nurture your child and meet your child where he or she are at...this is the place. Shihan Amber is a wonderful human being along with all her staff. They will welcome you and your family.

The Instructors at Purple Dragon Kitsilano are so friendly and welcoming! The location is also great with lots of great cafes and parks to enjoy the rest of your Saturday morning!Moreover, Shihan Murphy's kickboxing classes are well thought out and challenging. The first time I tried it, I was scared of not being able to keep up with the class and not being physically fit enough. However, everyone was soo supportive! Exercises are modified to meet your needs and to match your current fitness level. Thank you for making my first kickboxing experience pleasant and fun!Best,Katie Aston

Purple Dragon Kitsilano specializes in Don Jitsu Ryu to ages 2-Adult. We also specialize in Cardio Kickboxing, Women’s Self Defense, Yoga, and private classes. Studio rentals available Mon-Friday 8am to 3pm and Sundays. Purple Dragon is a community that focuses on mental, physical and spiritual growth. Our goal is to continually provide a home in the community where our teachers can guide students along a positive path, the Martial Arts Do (way). Members must practice discipline, respect, and integrity; students gain confidence to apply in school, the work place and everyday life. Purple Dragon’s Don Jitsu Ryu System is practiced by thousands in 12 countries worldwide.
